Victoria accelerates children’s learning by igniting their curiosity and imagination, developing children’s ability to connect what they learn from a variety of subjects with their daily life. About Anika
Anika is a passionate and ambitious individual who grew up in Denmark, where outdoor learning is deeply embedded in the educational system—playing and learning in the forest are an integral part of the Danish kindergarten curriculum. After her childhood in Denmark, she completed a bilingual high school diploma in both Danish and German in Northern Germany. When she arrived in Switzerland in 2012, she pursued her academic interests at the University of Lausanne, earning a Bachelor's degree in English, German and French as a foreign language in 2017, and subsequently a Master's degree in English and German linguistics and literature in 2019.
Her career journey has been both diverse and dynamic, spanning a range of roles from substitute teaching at the primary and secondary levels, to supporting faculty and students at various universities in Switzerland, and even managing projects at a publishing house. Yet, despite the value of these experiences, Anika felt something was missing. Passionate about reconnecting people with nature, she believes modern society often neglects the importance of outdoor experiences and human connection. Driven by this belief, Anika sought out Victoria who had a brilliant idea and together they founded The Forest Tribe—an initiative dedicated to bringing children and adults back into nature, fostering growth, learning, and meaningful experiences.
