What is the location for the sessions?Sessions are held in different locations in Vaud, Switzerland. The exact location is provided after booking.

What language are the sessions in?All sessions are held in English. Children who don’t speak English or are learning the language are welcome to join. Victoria speaks conversational French and is qualified to Teach English as a Foreign Language (Level 5). The forest school sessions are an opportunity for children to learn English while taking part in activities with other children outdoors.

What are the benefits of Forest School?Forest School supports physical, emotional, emotional social development. Highlights include: fine and gross motor skills, coordination, strength, fostering self-esteem, confidence, resilience, collaboration, a sense of belonging, problem-solving, curiosity, critical thinking, risk assessment, connection with nature... and the list goes on!

How many children attend each session?Up to 15 children in a group. There will always be at least two adults.

Are drinks and snacks provided?Yes. Snacks and drinks are provided for the children at all sessions. Snacks will often be homemade, and sometimes made by the children themselves on the camp fire. Both warm and cold drinks will be provided. Please let us know if you child has any allergies and this will be catered for.

Can my child just come for a one off session?For the holiday camps, we ask children to sign up for the week as this enables us to form a close-knit group and takes away stress for the children, really enabling them to thrive. For the weekly sessions, we ask all children to sign up for a minimum of 6 sessions, as it is through a longer term programme that we truly see the benefits.
